We did everything right. We got good grades. We worked hard and even did extra curricular, cause someone said that might matter. Then we graduated, and it didn’t. We worked shitty jobs, and realized, maybe college, that’s what we need. And then we were there, and it wasn’t. We got degrees, we got in debt, we got homes, we got cars, we got matching furniture, and then, we turned around, and our houses were full, but our lives were empty. But it was too late.
